We are excited to announce the integration of SecondWrite into VirusTotal’s multi-sandbox project. The multi-sandbox project’s goal is to aggregate a few leading sandboxes into VirusTotal, which is a database of malware and multi-scanner maintained by Google. You can read the full article here.
VirusTotal has a rigorous selection process during which they evaluate candidate sandboxes for partnership. They evaluated SecondWrite’s sandbox over three months, testing it for detection accuracy, quality of report, reliability, and use of standardized terms for report entries. SecondWrite passed this test with flying colors, becoming one of only 7 sandboxes worldwide to be accepted as VirusTotal partners.
